Moving Sale Post #2

Yay for vintage smalls. They are perfect for nonsensical and useless vignettes.
TEXT or call 312-550-8980 for info or to pickup!

I have way too many things to move with me, let alone photograph, but here are some highlights I am willing to part with.

$40 Set of Vintage Brass Measuring Cups beautiful tarnish and patina, or polish to your liking. Pictured here adorned with pheasant feathers next to a pair of antique slippers. Why not?

$100 English Hand Hammered Copper Mirror Inquire for exact dimension. Estimated at 20". Mirror is beveled, has some minor discoloration.

$10 Bird Print The only thing I'm selling in this picture is the bird print. Framed in an inexpensive frame. Who wants to drive to Berwyn for a bird print? Nobody. Nice picture though!

SOLD! Jansen Style Nesting Tables purchased from the estate of a former furniture buyer for Marshall Fields. European, probably French, 1950s. Glass tops with mirrored edge, pineapple finial at cross bar.

SOLD! Pair of Marble, Wood, and Brass Lamps Gorgeous pair of Regency lamps, fluted marble columns, Gilded wood and brass bases. Significant tarnish and corrosion to brass finish, still solid and usable. Not working, rewiring required. I adore this pair and meant to keep them for myself. (I still may, but this supposed to be a purge, afterall.)
$15 Cesca style side chair I have two available for $25 as well. Canning is fine, a bit discolored. Tarnished chrome could easily be remedied with fine steel wool. Great look for the price!

Listed!

My place has been on the market now for a few weeks. I struggled with this decision. I love my house- the lightness of it, the proportion of the rooms, the modest but pretty sleek kitchen- but other factors won out.

There is an open house this Sunday, June 30 from 1 PM- 2:30 PM, 2632 S. Oak Park Ave, Berwyn, IL. The current listing price is 185,000. The house is two bedrooms, one bath, with a full very usable high-ceilinged basement and huge walk-up attic. It's a great house for two people, or could be easily made quite large with the renovation of the attic.
